After much encouragement from my older sis Sharon, I thought it was time to put my words where my mouth is and leave my children and grandchildren a legacy. This website is it. (They think they're getting money!!!)
When we make out a will, I'll be sure to put the URL to this site so they can see what their father and I have been up to in our elderly years...
In the meantime, ya'll can enjoy and you don't even have to wait for our demise!
Sharon also suggested putting a little blurb on here that this site would be updated on a weekly basis. I wrote back: "I would not put 'weekly updates'. I'd suggest saying 'New pages added periodically'. I think the reason things are sooo funny is because they happen monthly... or periodically. We honestly do not laugh weekly. Sometimes it is daily, but not weekly. That is toooo soon and toooo scheduled. Plus it puts pressure on me to write weekly. When it happens, it happens. Periodically is a good word."
So, folks, FINLEY'S FUNNIES will be updated at Sharon's convenience! (Hopefully, at least periodically...)

For anyone curious about the background used on this site, my Mom loved raspberries and my Dad loved blackberries. So "the berries" are in fond memory of them! :-)
